Hedgerow warmly welcomes emerging artists into the world of musical theater with Sprouts! In this program, emerging artists will explore the fundamentals of performance including learning music, choreography, creating exciting art, and learning to work as an ensemble, culminating in their very own musical theatre showcase!
Hedgerow is a place for student artists to make new friends, create lasting memories, build confidence and expand creativity! Whether your child is brand new to the stage or a seasoned performer, Sprouts is a program they will grow with.
Camp duration: Two Weeks
Camp Sessions: Monday - Friday, 9:00am-3:00pm
After-care drop off: Option from 3:00-4:30pm

Session I: July 6-17, Adventure is Out There!
Welcome emerging artists into the magical world of musical theater! Designed for ages 5–8, this two-week summer program invites our youngest players to sing, act, move, and imagine through beloved songs from Tarzan, The Jungle Book, Hercules, Percy Jackson, Mulan, Finding Nemo, and Moana. Together, students will explore the fundamentals of storytelling, create exciting art, and learn how to work as an ensemble—all while embarking on epic adventures across jungles, oceans, and mythic lands. Perfect for curious kids ready to explore, create, and perform!
Session II: July 20 - 31, No Place Like Home
Designed for ages 5–8, this two-week summer musical theater adventure invites young performers to step into the enchanting world of Oz through songs from The Wizard of Oz, The Wiz, and Wicked. Students will build confidence as they sing, move, and play, while discovering how characters and music bring a story to life. Through guided games and creative activities, children will practice collaboration, imagination, and self-expression in a supportive ensemble setting—learning that the greatest adventures often lead us back to where we belong.
Session III: Aug 3 - 14, Fairytale & Fantasy
Perfect for ages 5–8, this two-week musical theater program invites young performers to step into a world of castles, quests, and magical discoveries. Featuring songs from Rapunzel, Shrek, Cinderella (Rodgers & Hammerstein), Anastasia, and Frozen, students will explore performance through imaginative play, music, and movement. Along the way, they’ll strengthen listening skills, creativity, and teamwork while bringing beloved fairytale characters and fantastical stories to life in a fun, nurturing ensemble environment where every child gets to shine.
