Class meets twice weekly: Tuesdays 4:30-6:30p and Saturdays 12-3:30p

Step into Andrew Lloyd Webber's hit musical, specially tailored for young actors. CATS is set amongst a larger-than-life junkyard playground and is alive with purr-fect felines, The Jellicle Cats, who come out to play on one special night of the year—the night of the Jellicle Ball. One by one, they tell their stories for the amusement of Old Deuteronomy, their wise and benevolent leader, who must choose one of the Cats to ascend to an otherworldly honor.

In this program, emerging performers work as an ensemble and explore the essential elements of musical theatre - learning music, choreography, staging, and character development.

Hedgerow’s education classes emphasize collaboration, self-confidence, creative expression through performing arts. We strive to meet each student where they are, supporting individual growth in a supportive environment. Tech rehearsals are: March 10& 11 at 4:30-7:30p
Performances are: Friday, 3/13 at 6:30p | Saturday, 3/14 at 10:30a + 1p + 3p | Sunday, 3/15at 1p
Students will be called one hour prior to performances, and will remain at the theatre between performances on two show days.
