Draw the Circle tells the story of one person’s transformation — from Shireen to Deen — and the community that grows alongside them. Told entirely through the perspectives of those around him, Deen takes us on his epic journey of discovery. This one-person show explores the courage it takes for us to live authentically when we do not fit societalexpectations of gender, faith, or family.
Draw the Circle is both an intimate and expansive portrait of love that transcends identity. It’s a reminder that every journey toward truth is also a journey toward understanding. This compassionate coming-of-self-story is anchored deeply in humanity and told with heart and humor.
