Ushers: Ushers are needed for Thursday, Friday,
Saturday evening and Sunday matinee performances. You will greet and seat patrons, serve snacks and
clean up after intermission refreshments, and bid farewell
to guests at the end of performances.
Box Office: Volunteers are
needed to work box office shifts, especially during
afternoons. The box office is open daily from 10
am to 6 pm and on Sundays from 10 am to 5 pm. Volunteers can
choose the time and length of their shifts. Duties include
answering phones; retrieving voice-mail messages; taking
reservations; providing information concerning show
schedules, class schedules, subscription and volunteer
information. Training sessions are given.
Props: Volunteers are needed to assemble and
organize props.
Technical: Volunteers are involved in set
construction and painting; lights and sound.
Costumes: Volunteers are need to stitch or sew
(build) costumes as well as to mend or sew (build) A
Christmas Carol costumes over the summer. All variations
of handwork or machine work experiences are acceptable.
Volunteers are also needed who are interested in working in
the costume shop, sorting and deleting old costume pieces
and shoes. And, volunteers are needed to work back stage as
dressers during various shows on an as needed basis!
Office Assistance: Volunteers are wanted for
typing, filing, copying, answering phones, and making
data-base entries.
Facility Maintenance: Volunteers are needed for
repairs, painting and general maintenance at the theatre and
house.
Hospitality: Volunteers cook, bake, set-up and
clean-up for special events and opening nights.
Gardening: Volunteers plant and weed around the
theatre and house, spring through fall.
