Under the direction of Joe Spiecker, The Valley Forge Chorus returns to Hedgerow Theatre for two performances only! Kick off summer with a wonderful a capella songfest about relationships and the joys and trials of them! Songs will include: Sweet Georgia Brown, Somewhere Over The Rainbow, Come Fly With Me, a wonderful Brahms' Lullaby medley, Gershwin’s Summertime as well as inspirational and patriotic songs like, It Is Well With My Soul, God Bless America and The Battle Hymn of the Republic. Demetria Joyce Bailey, whose performance in Ethel Waters: His Eye is on the Sparrow wowed audiences and critics alike, returns to Hedgerow for An Intimate Evening of Song with her 10 piece band, The Joe Dawson Jazz Ensemble. Demetria invites us into a relaxed concert style performance as she sings some of her favorites such as: Land of Make Believe, Only You, God Bless the Child as well as bringing back the magical songs from Ethel Waters: His Eye is on the Sparrow including: Stormy Weather, Taking A Chance On Love, Am I Blue and other Waters favorites (not included in the show), like Suppertime and Happiness Is A Thing Called Joe.
Performances: Thursday through Saturday at 8 p.m.; Sunday at 2 p.m.

Broadway Bound’s ensemble of artists brings together their passion to create and perform Broadway and popular favorites by George M. Cohen, Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, Rodgers & Hammerstein, Lerner & Loewe, Stephen Sondheim, Andrew Lloyd Webber & Tim Rice. Noted for their up-tempo and interactive shows, the Broadway Bound ensemble has performed at many venues throughout the tri-state area. The troupe continues to be the exclusive entertainers for the prestigious annual national Jefferson Awards for Public Services, an inspirational evening that takes the group to Washington DC each June. Broadway Bound’s limited engagement of only four performances at Hedgerow Theatre will feature Donna Dougherty and Broadway Bound’s Founding Artistic Director Robert Welch. You may remember Robert and Donna from last summer’s Razzle Dazzle Cabaret at Hedgerow Theatre.
