Because it is the county seat, Media, known as "everyone's home town," has beautiful shops and fabulous restaurants. The nearest restaurants are along State Street and Baltimore Pike, or between them, in Media about 1 to 2 miles north of Hedgerow. There are also many restaurants on Baltimore Pike east of the Blue Route: at the Springfield Mall (north side west of 320), Olde Sproul Village (north side east of 320), and Springfield Square South (south side east of Olde Sproul Village).
