This adaptation by Nagle Jackson uses much of Charles Dickens original language. Audiences and actors of all ages join Scrooge on his Christmas Eve journey in a lively production that features story and song that resonate afresh every year. Themes of redemption, guidance, light in darkness -- all have had their particular focus in this production. Select shows will feature area choirs - see the calendar below for details.
Theatre veterans Zoran Kovcic and George Spillane (alternating in the role of Scrooge) and Susan Wefel (as Mrs. Dilber) return for the 15th year to perform onstage alongside resident fellows (Clyde Brooks, Carl Smith, Tara Haupt, David Franz, Steven Carpenter, Saundra Montijo, Rachel Holmes) and a host of (over 60) Hedgerow students and local actors of all ages.
