Adult Performance Classes, which feature scenes |

 | |  | | Here is the opportunity to get away from the everyday stress of work and explore the creative side of life. Through theatre games, improvisation and scenes our beginner adults are encouraged to throw off the cares of the day and play. Our Acting For Adults class works on monologues and scenes to explore acting techniques and stresses process. For those adults who want to get more experience acting in front of an audience we have our Performance Classes which features scenes and monologues with a public performance at the theatre. These performances are free; the public is welcome to attend! Those interested in taking an acting class are particularly urged to attend. This multigenerational Show-Class culminates in a final presentation on stage at the Historic Hedgerow, where generations of actors have launched successful national careers. This class is open to both teens and adults. Call with questions. The public is invited to attend the final performance at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 16 at Hedgerow Theatre! Admission free. This is great way to see how much fun our classes are!
Tom Teti is a long-time member of Hedgerow Theatre. He receivedhis training at Hedgerow, as an actor (e.g. Salieri in Amadeus and Sherlock Holmes in The Hound of the Baskervilles), a director (e.g. Our Town, A Christmas Carol and Rumors), and as a Master Acting Instructor for years. Before his successful acting career, Mr. Teti was a professional educator with the Pennsylvania school system. Mr. Teti has acted in major theatres in Philadelphia and is a regular company member at Peoples Light and Theatre, spawned by former Hedgerow company members.

This class concentrates on intense scene study. Students stretch their skills as they prepare scenes and monologues for a final performance onstage at Hedgerow Theatre. Class members will perform the scenes they chose to work on during the semester for final performance before family and friends at Hedgerow Theatre. The public is invited to attend the final performance. Admission free. This is great way to see how much fun our classes are!

Ms. Roselle is a long-time member of Hedgerow Theatre, and received her training at Hedgerow. She has performed many roles at Hedgerow and in the area and was just featured in our Spring 2009 production of Arms and the Man and summer production of Musical Comedy Murders of 1940.
